[9/02/05 @ 10:47am] [ mood | blank ] well, this is it. my last hour in columbia. but for like, real this time. this isnt a few months in greenville where i can come home once a month. this is the big MA we're talking about. this is IT. i mean sure, i will be here on christmas break and during the summers, but that doesn't really count, because i will be spending 90% of that time in an IHOP uniform, and all of my free time testing out the hydrolics on my coworkers' cars. but im not really concerned, because i know i will see a lot of people again. i mean really, i only have to go to one party a year to see everyone and renew my subscription to our friendship. i said bye to jaime last night, and honestly, i am saddest about leaving him. i know i will see all you other goddamn punks that i secretly hate again before i even know it, but there is a very real possibility that i will never see him again. he's an illegal who is itching for his homeland, and if he gets the money, he will probably be back on his father's ranch in Puebla by Navidad. what can you do though? c'est la vie! or, better yet, ¡es la vida! aye, aye, aye. mi corazón está triste. there's revolution coming in her hips (7)

[2/14/05 @ 1:42pm] [ mood | worried ] my dad had a heart attack last night. who would have thought? 300+ lb man who smokes 2 packs a day and has diabetes? the chances were next to none! he has been in surgery all morning, they are putting a few stints (?) in. my mom called a little while ago and said that they were pretty sure he would be ok. if there are no complications my mom and i will go to tennessee thursday night; if there are then we will go sooner. :-/ happy valentine's day. there's revolution coming in her hips (2)
